Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been officially announced by the Pokemon Company! The games will be released worldwide for the 3DS and 2DS in November of 2014!
It appears that there are Mega Evolutions or Alternate forums of Groudon and Kyogre! This announcement also means there will be no "Platinum" type game for X and Y. There won't be a Pokemon Z.
Rumors are also swirling that there will be a new Emerald version as well to be released after Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
